The Outlander Edition 25 is differentiated by exclusive enhancements, premium comfort upgrades and in-cabin technology that is sure to elevate every journey.

Updates exterior styling

The Outlander Edition 25 features numerous updated exterior styling elements that are exclusive to this model.

The bold design elements are inspired by the Outlander’s evolution over the last 25 years while reinforcing the I-Fu-Do-Do, which translates into authentic and majestic, design language of the current generation.

The Dynamic Shield front grille has been upgraded with smooth and elaborate detailing. Lower down, the skid guard has been treated to a more three-dimensional appearance, providing a robust and protected feel.

At the rear the tail lamp outer lens has been given a smoked finish, which makes the T-shaped signature with red inner lens stand out more than before. The design of the rear skid plate has been revamped with a three-dimensional style, reinforcing the robust and protective exterior.

The lower bumpers and B and C pillar garnishes have been treated to a hard-wearing, yet premium looking material black finish.

A power sliding panoramic sunroof offers an expansive premium feel and the Outlander Edition 25 rides on unique 20-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

Enhanced features for the luxury interior

The interior of the Outlander is defined by luxury and comfort, elements that are reinforced in the Edition 25, which delivers a noticeably refined cabin experience and high-quality materials along with additional creature comforts. All interior lamps have been upgraded to LED. The map lamp, room lamp, and personal lamp can be turned on and off with a capacitive switch. With the operation of the main switch and individual lamp switches, the lights now gradually turn

on and off.

Quiet, refined cabin quality has been enhanced thanks to the LED upgrade with premium materials such as leather seats. The driver’s seat is eight-way adjustable with power lumbar support and a memory function. Comfort is also enhanced by the addition of three-level adjustable ventilation. The addition of touch-sensitive controls bolsters user friendliness.

A 12.3-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as built-in navigation allows for seamless smart phone mirroring and an intuitive infotainment experience. Voice commands are activated by the phrase ‘Hello Mitsubishi’ allowing drivers to command functionality with their voice alone.

This is reinforced by a 12.3-inch fully digital driver display, resulting in a modern, fully digital, cockpit.

The Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium system with eight speakers offers an immersive, concert-like, audio experience.

The centre console has been redesigned. The cup holder is now less obtrusive, located alongside the shift lever and the volume of the console storage box has been increased to 4.2-litres. In addition the gear shift lever has been redesigned to reduce the possibility of accidental operation. USB ports have been converted to Type-C to improve charging speed and the smartphone wireless charger redesigned for easier access.

Additional comfort features include a Multi Around Monitor, a power remote tailgate with hands free access, door mirrors with position memory and reverse auto tilt and a rearview mirror that adopts a frameless design and acts as the display for the camera installed at the rear of the vehicle.

The fitment of pull-up sunshades on the rear side windows elevates rear passenger experience and comfort significantly.

A tried and tested powertrain

The Outlander Edition 25 retains the tried and tested 2.5-litre DOHC, direct injection, four-cylinder engine paired to an eight-speed CVT and Mitsubishi’s Super-All Wheel Control. This combination offers 135kW at 6000 rpm and 245Nm at 3600rpm while using just 8,1 litres per 100km.

Surefooted underpinnings

The Outlander Edition 25 upholds the legendary off-road pedigree that Mitsubishi models are known for thanks to 210mm of ground clearance and the addition of Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC). This innovative electronically controlled AWD system uses intuitive sensors to maximise vehicle control, distributing power to all four wheels.

The Outlander offers six drive modes including Normal, Eco, Tarmac, Gravel, Snow and Mud, each of which have been tailored to achieve outstanding driving performance on any road and in various conditions by integrating with the powertrain, EPS, S-AWC and braking system.
